Extreme Square Dancing
Banksy's apocalyptic take on Jack Vettriano's classic
A spectacularly interesting day in the cosmos darklings, as prelude to a week of change. This is a day of two halves, though if you are dangling from your outer reaches it may be harder to access the sweet perfumed hangover of the weekend.
We wake from Venusian dreams to square dancing on our own revolutionary front. No matter the flimsy shelter you may have constructed from the elements or how deeply you sup from Neptune's chalice of denial, you cannot outrun the imperative. This revolution of humanity does not make exceptions.
When planets square dance, a challenge is issued that is ignored at your peril. The somebody that must do something is you, if you are to effect change rather than be crushed or blindsided by it. Every challenge holds within it a kernel of opportunity for those who rise to meet it.
Merc squaring Jupiter sharpens concentration, hauling our marvellous minds back from dreamy notions of the future or fantastical bypass. Work is required in the here and now to get there. Knowledge is on offer to those keen to expand understanding and court the wisdom of the shadows while Pluto retrogrades.
The heavy hitter today is the Sun squaring Saturn, ever a call to take responsibility and hold yourself accountable. Running this personal gauntlet is the only way to get ahead, move beyond or build more solid foundations. This aspect can arrive with lashings of criticism or resistance, hard lessons that require a straightening of the backbone and a fierce resolve. Do yourself proud, without waiting for anyone else to do the work for you or take fate out of your hands.
Later this week our planetary frontrunners will make early contact with Gemini and impending eclipse season. It is closer than you think. The very best prep is the bold steps towards change you take now.
I attribute my success to this: I never gave or took an excuse.
