Venus combust, retrograde and blinded by the light reaches a hand out and it is all too easy to lurch or lunge from the shadows. Lady Love in her underworld glowering now at Pluto freshly emerged from his own seven hells, gleaming at his Persephone once more from an entirely different vantage. Thanks to both of their retrograde shenanigans, this meeting continues a conversation begun in September that now looks a clear herald of what was to come.
Remember, remember what comes of the muddle between heart and head, how darkest desire clouds its innate light. Even the dark lord cannot ever possess his queen truly. If the feminine is stripped of mystery, she cannot be embraced. Venus disappears from our skies now, and we enter the deepest passage of the Venus retrograde. This is the next star point, its turning and the darkest deepest most shadowed part of the journey. For the next ten days the revelations here are intense, seismic in their ripples that will ultimately alter everything. As powerful as a butterflies wings, or a spider's webbing.
The trick of any shadow journey is getting too caught up in what is going on outside when the call is actually coming from inside the house. This next ten days also contains some very fractious stars and all manner of challenging aspects, designed to tug on your shadows so you can rebirth them once and for all. Beware reactionary revolt over true reclamation of what matters most. Tend the vessel not the crowd. Stay the course even when you can only feel the path, not all sight is sacred.
