Shadow Medicine
Try as we might it is nigh on impossible to ignore the siren song of the shadowlands when it keens to you. All this shedding year and well before it, shadows bigger than just the wayward facsimiles of tender selves and past participles, the vaster kind we pretend are not ours too.
Inculturation and bias, gross generalisation and harmful assumption, the shit you stop yourself saying out loud in company or rant about under assumed names. Don't kid your shiny self. That too is our shadow work, a community service and courageous commitment to The Future.
Embracing the shadows as medicine of the moment? Don't mind if we do. Be a lot cooler if we did. My recent talk for the Women of Wisdom Symposium is up now for all, subscribers and patrons alike overland on another platform. Best enjoyed with a strong cuppa something, darklings and available for your listening and viewing pleasure.
We no longer have time nor the luxury of being scared of the dark.
