The strange in between is here. We have arrived to the stormy half moon fulcrum that dangles us precariously between solar and lunar eclipse. Neither here nor there, travelling between past and future without anchor or orientation by design. This place is both portal and portent, shimmering like cut glass and razor sharp on its edges. Each time we traverse this fantastical terroir there is a distinct scent and flavour to its wildness. Something that we cannot quite put our finger on, or even a name to, claws at us from the inside. The world tremors and clangs.
This time a bubbling rage foments propelling us beyond our not no mores. Stretching the gap between then and now to a gulf so vast there can be no return. Feel it slithering around the edges and searing the conversations that can no longer be avoided. Hear it like a deep sub beneath sticky sweet veneers. See what it draws a ring of fire around and do not look away.
Rage is a much maligned magic, too often quelled and shamed for its ferocity. Its unrivalled fire flares in the face of breach and disrespect, righteous in its indignation and dangerous to any smirking status quo. It is unequivocal in its power to challenge the unassailable and transform the intractable. Fearsome in its roaring power, irrevocable and unquestioning.
You must wrangle its charging bull carefully or it will gore you. Suppression is immolation from the inside out, a gnawing dis-ease that feeds upon its host. Rage does not trifle nor play pretend and like truth, forces its way out into the world roaring. Its power sullied by violence, its potential too easily ruined in a flurry of blows.
In a modern world that has lost its way and buried its touchstones to humanity, rage is the fuel that feeds activism. Change seeds in its scorched earth. It refuses control or conditioned stifling and marches you to the threshold of no turning back.
