Go To Ground

In the face of lifequaking transformation and the quite frankly unholy methods the multiverse has been reefing out of its bag o' tricks to shake rattle and roll us, it has been all too easy to overlook the balm of Taurus season.

Balm you say? Why yes, right under your nose the whole time. Our little bull friends know that when everything else is jacking up, they go to ground. Sensation junkies whose compass is the realm of their finely tuned senses, Taureans implicitly understand that returning over and over again to their sturdy bodies grants them access to the full smorgasbord of sensual delight. Whether chocolate or music, a long soak or a good book (or all of the above all at once with a glass of something because no one ever accused Taurus of under-indulging) this simple medicine is always balm for addled minds.

As an added month of May bonus, diving deep into your five senses is the gateway to deep connection with your precious sixth: your intuition. While the flux zone continues right up until the Taurus new moon and the Shift of Uranus (pun intended in every sense) mainlining the wisdom and guidance from thy higher self is beyond crucial. It is compulsory if you are looking to trade mere surviving for thriving.

Double down on that self care. Have the last piece yourself. Turn the phone off and the music up to 11. Stop and smell the roses, roll in the hay, dance in the rain. Drink deeply of the natural world and remind yourself why the body is the temple from which we worship in this life.

Drink the sun’s warmth and the moon’s icy glitter, and taste that which the dead and the yet-to-be-born cannot: the potency of this world.
