Boundary Issues

Around about this time each year, when Virgo arrives to usher in the new season and her discernment reframes my world, I turn my attention to boundaries. In my deck, I call this the dirty word card for the eye rolls its appearance engenders. Boundaries is another one of those words that rolls easily off the tongue in theory but is deeply afflicted in practice. Which is precisely why it is a crucial foundation of the signature shadow work I offer.Self care and boundaries are its twin pillars but in truth, I view them as the basis of everything. They undeniably set the tone of your life, the mechanism and membranes of its structure and function. They depend on each other in so many ways. Done right, they weave together to protect and preserve the sacred space you inhabit in the world.Far too often we feel as if we don't have enough of that space, some dark days any of it at all. Communication of boundaries is fraught when we struggle to articulate our needs in the roaring face of others. The deeper understanding and wrangling of boundaries can feel loaded, elusive or just too hard. And none of these crucial ingredients to a peaceful, creative and magical existence are taught as life skills, nor modelled well by a world that continually exhorts us to abandon ourselves to it.Over the last few months and years I have been honing a new offering dedicated to both the fine art of boundaries and their dark shadow. A short course designed specifically for those suffering deeply from the empath's curse. A spell women are taught unconsciously to weave over themselves that disconnects them from their power and purpose. A sleeping spell that works for everyone else except you.In a world rebirthing through revolution, boundaries are a militant act of survival and too, a mark of respect. Sound like just the medicine you crave? To move you from boundary challenged into a brave new world built on respect, understanding and priorities that serve you. First.DM for details or to register darklings, if it's time to get this boundary thing down. We begin once the full moon peaks. 📷 Tim WalkerWords c. Kerrie Basha 2020
